This chakra represents union, the will-to-be, spiritual awakening, the knowledge of being at one with all life, cosmic consciousness and peace. The focal point of this portal is the pineal gland in the top of the head. It governs the upper brain and right eye. Contained within this chakra are counterparts of all the others. It is where perfection shines without pause and when the pineal and pituitary glands blend harmoniously the third eye comes into being. When this happens there is a direct avenue of perception into the mind, body and spirit and their union with and within the greater soul, unencumbered by the five physical senses. The pineal gland is known as the seat of the soul and acts as a link between the visible and invisible worlds.
